Kaumudi Jain, an outstanding student at La Martinière Girls' College, Lucknow, boasts a strong academic and extracurricular record. Scoring 97.6% in her 10th-grade exams, she ranks in the top 5% of her class. Her intellectual curiosity led her to excel in college-level Economics and Data Science courses during Harvard's 7-week Secondary School Summer Program.

In addition to academics, Kaumudi has demonstrated leadership as a prefect and head of her school’s social media writing team. Her dedication to social causes through the Pragati Foundation underscores her commitment to preserving traditional art and uplifting marginalized communities. She truly embodies the school motto, "Labore et Constantia," through her intellect, leadership, and compassion.

PRAGATI FOUNDATION

Kaumudi is the founder of the Pragati Foundation, an NGO dedicated to reviving endangered traditional art forms, including the rare Gulabo Sitabo puppetry. Under her leadership, the foundation has flourished, organizing over 33 exhibitions, dance competitions, and art showcases, which attracted more than 60,000 attendees and generated over ₹10 lakh in revenue. The foundation has provided a platform for 423 artisans, helping them gain recognition and financial support.

Kaumudi’s meticulous financial management, including the creation of a detailed profit and loss statement, has ensured the foundation's sustainability. Her innovative use of social media to engage a larger audience has earned the foundation a significant online presence, with 11,900 followers and 194,000 impressions on Instagram. Her efforts have been recognized by local and national media, as well as by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, inspiring other young adults to follow her lead.
